HFO-NZ, New Zealand Haas Factory Outlet, is seeking highly motivated field service technician (experienced) to install, troubleshoot, and repair Haas CNC machine tools. The ideal candidate must have great communication skills and the ability to work independently. Candidates must live in or be willing to move to Auckland area. This position will also require some travel throughout New Zealand.

Job Qualification:
The ideal candidate will have at least a high school education and a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial equipment or automotive repair and maintenance.

The following skills are preferred:
• Knowledge of mechanical repair practices
• Knowledge of electrical repair practices
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of basic machine design and operation
• Ability to read and understand measurement gauges
• Ability to read manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment a plus
• Proficient with Windows based computers and Microsoft products
• Communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a qualification in electronics or mechanical and have an in-depth knowledge of repairs and maintenance of CNC machinery. You will have experience in customer focused environments and be a superb communicator. You will need to demonstrate your ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects and be accountable. The CNC Field Service Technician will have an extensive understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls for customer organizations
Utilizing machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
